For Simon-Pierre, trees have always been a part of his life.
He was lucky enough to grow up in a family where nature was presented to him as a playground. Although he had fun in the forest, his parents quickly instilled in him a respect of nature and his environment.
As a teenager, Simon-Pierre was determined, curious and passionate about extreme sports.
Following an atypical academic progress, Simon-Pierre began post-secondary studies in Forestry in Ottawa, at College La Cité.
It was during his studies that he discovered arboriculture, a profession that combined two of his passions, trees and climbing.
After his studies, he started working with an experienced man who showed him the basics of the arboriculture trade.
However, he was thirsty for new technologies and new trends that could benefit the customers. That’s when he decided to start his own business and found Arboris.
To this day, Arboris has become a reference in arboriculture in Eastern Ontario.
Simon-Pierre hopes to see Arboris grow by maintaining the same level of expertise and innovation to serve and educate more clients while improving our overall urban forest.
